Popular model-cum-actress, Karenjit Kaur, aka Sunny Leone began her acting career, by working in adult films. Coming to her personal life, she is married to the love of her life, Daniel Weber and the couple is blessed with a daughter, Nisha and two sons, Asher and Noah. However, Sunny’s dating period was also one of the hot topics amongst the gossipmongers. Now, in an interview, Sunny revealed that she met her husband while dating her ex-boyfriend, Russell Peters. She also called her relationship with the latter ‘a mistake’.

For the unversed, Sunny Leone dated the popular stand-up comedian, Russell Peters for a short period of time. In an interview with Mid-Day, Sunny was asked if she minds that Russell jokes about their relationship in his stand-up comedy shows. To this, Sunny revealed that although she doesn’t know clearly whether he does that or not. However, she doesn’t mind her ex-boyfriend, Russell’s jokes about their relationship. Sunny said:
“Yes, you have to see it. I don’t know if he does it now, but now I am not upset about anything he says. It’s totally fine if it makes people laugh.”

In the same conversation, Sunny called her relationship with ex-boyfriend, Russell ‘a mistake’. Further, explaining how it ruined their friendship, she mentioned how the duo used to spend a lot of time together and all of this was messed up when they went on a date. She added:
“It was a mistake. I genuinely believe that him and I were such good friends and we had so much fun together and everywhere I would travel in the US, there were a lot of places that he was at, because he was doing a show and we would just meet up and have fun, drink and go out, be really funny and silly. All of a sudden we messed up by going out on a date.”

Sunny is currently living a happy married life with her husband, Daniel. However, there were once rumours that Daniel used to beat up her ex-boyfriend, Russel for making jokes about her. Moreover, the same was shown in the series based on Sunny’s life. When Sunny was asked about it in the same interview, she immediately laughed it out and revealed:
“No, that one was sensationalised a little bit.”

Sunny reveals she was seeing Daniel while being in a relationship with Russell
In the end, Sunny regretted and revealed her wish to be friends with her ex-boyfriend, Russell. However, she also mentioned how it was extremely weird as the time when she was dating Russell, she was also seeing her husband, Daniel. Thus, she had to end her friendship with Russell and shared:
“I really do wish that we were still friends. He went this way, I went the other way, which is totally fine, but if I ever did see him again, I would be so happy to see him, even if he talked s**t in his stand-up comedy, its okay. When I dated Russel for this really short time, it was also the time the I met Daniel. So then, it would be really weird if I was still friends with Russell when I was just dating him and continue to be with him when I was with Daniel. It’s like weird mixing of weirdness. I had to drop the friend. I am sad about about it.”
