Ranjeet recalls getting fed up of playing the bad guy on-screen
In a recent interview with Lehren Retro, Ranjeet recalled a particular time in his career back in the 70s and 80s, when he had 80 films in his kitty in their production stage, each one of it requiring him to portray the meaty, villainous, woman-molester kind of roles. In fact, he also mentioned getting fed up of doing such roles so frequently, as he was either molesting or pulling the saree of an actress in these films. Remarking how it made him question his own talent and scope of work, Ranjeet mentioned:

When Ranjeet recalled a rare secret about his marriage with Aloka Bedi
In his personal life, Ranjeet happens to be a completely different person, than what he is popularly known for his roles in the movies. He is a totally calm, respectful and humble human when it comes to his life behind the camera. However, while the audience hated him for his villainous roles, he never expected that his bad guy image would even take a toll on his personal life. Well, in a previous interview with ETimes, Ranjeet had mentioned how his wife, Aloka Bedi’s relatives advised that she should have been drowned or poisoned, rather than marrying him. In his words:
